Clark County to Auction Shari's Restaurant Property

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Clark County Treasurer Alishia Topper has scheduled an auction to sell personal property from a former Shari’s Restaurant in Vancouver. The auction will take place on Friday, July 10, at 305 SE Chkalov Drive, Unit D113. Items include used restaurant furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

The auction preview will run from 9-11 a.m., with bidding from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bidders must pay in cash or certified funds and remove items by 4 p.m. on July 10. The sale will proceed if delinquent taxes, interest, penalties, and fees remain unpaid by 4 p.m. Thursday, July 9.

Topper stated, "No one wants to see a business reach the point of a distraint sale." She emphasized the county’s efforts to work with taxpayers to avoid such sales but noted the need to collect taxes fairly to support public services.
