Clark County Charter Review Town Halls Set

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Clark County Charter Review Commission will hold town hall meetings in each of the five council districts to discuss nine proposed amendments to the county charter. The meetings are scheduled for September 26 through October 11 at various public libraries and community centers.

The charter is the county's rulebook for government structure, defining roles, powers, elections, and processes. The commission, composed of 15 members elected in November 2025, will present information and answer questions during the meetings. Written comments can be submitted online via the county's website.

The commission will resume weekly meetings starting September 30 at 5 p.m. at the Public Service Center. Agendas and recordings will be available online.
