Clark County extends manufactured home park moratorium

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Clark County Council extended a moratorium on redevelopment of manufactured home parks (MHPs) in unincorporated areas through February 2027. The moratorium, initially declared in August 2025, aims to preserve affordable housing options and minimize resident displacement.

The county is developing new zoning policies and an MHP overlay zone within urban growth areas to prioritize manufactured home uses. An information session on these proposals will be held on September 14, 2026, at 6:30 pm at the Public Service Center or online. Residents can submit comments via email, mail, or the county website through September 14, 2026.
