Clark County is hosting an information session on Sept. 14, 2026, for residents to learn about proposals related to manufactured home parks (MHPs) in unincorporated areas. The session will cover a new MHP overlay zone proposal to preserve affordable housing and prevent displacement.
The county council extended a moratorium on MHP redevelopment through February 2027. The overlay zone would prioritize MHP uses and limit other residential development in urban growth areas. The proposal mirrors zoning strategies used in Vancouver and other Washington cities. Residents can attend in person at the Public Service Center or join remotely. Comments on the proposals are due by Sept. 7, 2026.
