πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

The Clark County Sheriff's Office has updated its public records process to comply with the Washington Public Records Act (RCW 42.56).

Residents can now submit requests through an online portal, replacing older methods. The Sheriff's Office provided a policy document (General Order 02.29) and a list of disclosure exemptions for reference.

The office also clarified that 911 records are handled by CRESA, collision reports by the Washington State Patrol, and Vancouver Police Department (VPD) reports are available through the city's portal for incidents within city limits.
