WSDOT announced several highway and road closures in Vancouver, WA, effective through early September. The most significant changes include a southbound I-405 closure from milepost 12 to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast from 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4. Additionally, I-5 will be reduced to a single lane nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. near Alger/Lake Samish Road (exit 240) from Aug. 31 through Sept. 4.
SR 4 will have a single lane closure in both directions between 50th and 42nd Avenues weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Sept. 11 for gas main work. State Route 99 will have a right lane closure from Russell Way to Gibson Road on Aug. 31 to Sept. 1 for utility work. WSDOT advises drivers to slow down and watch for flaggers in work zones.
