I-405 and I-90 will see overnight closures in Vancouver this week for construction and utility work. The most significant changes include up to four lanes of northbound I-405 closing nightly from milepost 11.5 to 13.7 between 9:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. through Sept. 4, and up to two lanes of southbound I-405 closing from milepost 12 to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast from 9 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4.
WSDOT will provide signed detours for the eastbound I-90 off-ramp closure to Factoria Boulevard and for the SR 527 right lane closure. The closures are part of ongoing infrastructure work, including city utility projects in Anacortes and buried gas main line extensions on SR 4 between 50th and 42nd Avenues. The most extended closure runs through Sept. 11 on SR 4, which will have single-lane traffic weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
