I-405, I-90, SR 9 closures continue through Sept. 4

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Multiple Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) projects will cause overnight lane closures on I-405, I-90, and SR 9 in Vancouver, WA, through early September. The closures include up to two lanes of southbound I-405 from milepost 12 to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast, up to two lanes of northbound I-405 from milepost 7 to 8.5, and the eastbound I-90 off-ramp to Factoria Boulevard.

The closures are scheduled for overnight periods from Thursday, Sept. 3, to Friday, Sept. 4, for the I-405 southbound project, and nightly from Monday, Aug. 31, through Friday, Sept. 4, for other projects. WSDOT states the closures are for construction and repair work, with signed detours provided for affected routes. The projects are expected to end by Sept. 4, 2026, though some projects like SR 9 will continue until Sept. 24.
