New lane closures and detours begin on I-405, SR 9, and SR 20 starting this week, according to Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) records.
I-405 will see nightly closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Wednesday, Aug. 24-26, on northbound lanes near I-5. A second closure on northbound I-405 from Northeast 85th Street to Northeast 100th Street will occur Friday, Aug. 28, to Monday, Aug. 31. The southbound I-405 HOV lane will close nightly from Monday, Aug. 24, to Friday, Aug. 28. SR 9 near Kalloch Road will be reduced to one lane with alternating traffic until Sept. 14 for fish passage construction. SR 20 near Loup Loup Pass will have alternating one-lane traffic Mondays through Thursdays until Aug. 27.
