πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

The left lane of northbound Interstate 5 will close from 6 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, through Sunday, Aug. 16, between Samish Way and Iowa Street. The Iowa Street on-ramp to northbound I-5 will also close from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

WSDOT states the closure is for maintenance work. Drivers should expect delays and follow detour signs. The closure ends Sunday at 10 a.m.

The agency also reports other ongoing construction, including a 35-day closure of SR 169 starting Aug. 17 for fish barrier removal, and a nightly bridge repair on US 12 over I-5 from Aug. 10 to Aug. 20.
