πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced several road closures and lane restrictions effective Monday, Sept. 14, through Sept. 18, affecting I-5 and SR 4 in the Vancouver area.

I-5 near the SR 500 interchange (milepost 1.9) will have the shoulder closed daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for overhead utility line work. Northbound I-5 between milepost 18.2 and 21.5 will have up to two lanes closed nightly from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. for concrete panel replacement. SR 4 between 50th and 42nd Avenues will have a single lane closed weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. for buried gas main extension work.

Drivers should plan for delays, expect reduced speeds, and follow flagger directions through the work zones. The closures end on Sept. 18 for most projects, with I-5 lane work extending until Sept. 20.
