Six More Measles Cases Confirmed in Clark County

Clark County Public Health reported six additional measles cases on Feb. 3, 2026, all connected to the initial case announced on Jan. 23. Health officials confirmed the new cases were exposed in non-public locations, meaning no new public exposure sites have been identified.

"We do not currently have any evidence that measles is spreading in public locations in Clark County," said Dr. Alan [name incomplete in source record].

The outbreak began when a Clark County adult with unverified vaccination status tested positive for measles after recently traveling to an area experiencing an outbreak. That person was at Ridgefield High School on Jan. 14, 15, and 16 while contagious.

A follow-up investigation identified an additional exposure site at The Vancouver Clinic's Ridgefield location at 5515 Pioneer St. People who visited the clinic between 4 and 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 21 may have been exposed. Clark County Public Health advised that unvaccinated individuals who have not previously had measles and were present at any identified locations are at risk of infection.
