Vancouver Sheriff's Office Releases Public Records Portal

The Clark County Sheriff's Office has established an online portal for public record requests, effective immediately, in compliance with Washington Public Records Act (RCW 42. 56). The portal allows residents to submit requests for records through the Sheriff's Office Public Disclosure Unit.

The Sheriff's Office Public Disclosure Unit processes all public record requests according to General Order 02. 29 Public Records and Clark County Code 2. 70 Disclosure of Public Records. The online portal includes a printable request form and information about disclosure exemptions.

Residents seeking 911/Dispatch records should contact CRESA at https://cresa.wa.gov, collision reports should be requested through Washington State Patrol at https://www.wsp.wa.gov/driver/collision-records/, and Vancouver Police Department reports for city incidents can be requested at https://www.cityofvancouver.us/government/public-records-request/.
